Ross Hill

Ross Hill is a Senior Design Engineer at Trinity Industries, Inc. since November 2013, specializing in the design and prototyping of various rail cars and facilitating the design for maintenance of way cars. Previous experience includes roles as a Project Engineer and Change Management Contract Engineer at the same company, where Ross managed compliance with new regulatory standards and navigated production changes. Ross also worked as a Production Support Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at OptiSense Network, focusing on manufacturing inspections and test plans. Early career positions included an internship at Apex Tool Group, surveying at JJA, and technical assistance at the SMU STARs Program. Ross holds a Master of Science in Operations Research and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Southern Methodist University.
