Jeroen Smakman

Jeroen Smakman has an extensive work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Jeroen is currently serving as a member of the supervisory board at Stichting Lezen, Stichting De Reehorst, and Bibliotheek IJmond Noord. Previously, they worked at Triodos Bank as the director of Product & Process Management and later as the director of Retail Banking. Before that, they held the position of Head of Learning and Development Retail at ING Bank Netherlands. Jeroen also has experience in various leadership roles at ING Bank Česká republika, ING DIRECT Canada, ING Direct Italia, ING Insurance Central Europe, and RVS.

Jeroen Smakman completed their Master of Marketing at TIAS School for Business and Society from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Delft University of Technology from 1987 to 1993. Jeroen also completed their earlier education at Ichthus Lyceum from 1981 to 1987.
