Leo Hellinga is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in renewable energy and project finance. Currently serving as a Senior Relationship Manager at Triodos Bank since March 2019, Leo specializes in providing senior debt for renewable energy projects and the energy transition. Previously, Leo held the position of Senior Investment Manager at Triodos Investment Management, focusing on equity and mezzanine loans for renewable energy initiatives. With a career spanning several notable financial institutions, including ASN Bank, ING Wholesale Banking, and CIT Newcourt Capital, Leo has a strong track record in financing sustainable energy projects, particularly in solar and wind sectors. Leo holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Groningen.
