Tony Martin

Tony Martin has extensive experience in equity, diversity, and inclusion roles. Tony currently works at Tripadvisor as the Associate Director of Equity, Diversity + Inclusion. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager and Principal Program Manager in the same department. Before joining Tripadvisor, Tony worked in higher education for 11 years at Bentley University, specializing in Student Affairs and Residence Life. During this time, they actively led various equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts and was recognized for their contributions with the NASPA Region I Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Award in 2014.

Tony Martin has a Master of Education - MEd degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from James Madison University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Tony Martin also obtained a certification in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in June 2021.
