Tom Merrihew has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the tech industry. Tom currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Tripleseat. Previously, they co-founded Gather in 2012 and held multiple positions including CTO, VPE, and Chief Architect. At Gather, they played a significant role in transforming the events booking and planning industry. Before that, they worked as the Vice President of Digital Strategy at TMA Direct, where they provided digital products and services to direct marketing clients. Additionally, Tom has served as the President of Ampeer LLC and Vice President of Production at Tele-Town Hall LLC. Tom started their career as a Public Policy Specialist at Patton Boggs LLP.

Tripleseat answers a need that has largely been a manual process for restaurant and banquet facility managers. The banquet and private dining business are overlooked andneglected. Yet the event business can represent over 30% of the revenue for restaurants and hotels and is very profitable if managed and marketed properly. Tripleseat takes the hassle, confusion and manual process out of the equation while helping venues grow their event business.
