James Maxfield is a Principal of Tritium Partners, responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions and monitoring Tritium’s portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Tritium, James spent four years at Fortress Investment Group as a Vice President in their private equity division helping to acquire, grow and exit companies in the financials services, transportation, and health services industries.
Prior to Fortress, James worked at Mistral Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm focused on consumer and media investments, and Trian Partners, where he focused on public and private investments in the consumer, retail, media, financial services and industrial sectors.
Previously, James worked as an investment banker at Citigroup where he worked on various M&A and capital market initiatives.
James holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College, and received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
