Christina Caspers-Römer is a highly experienced professional in the media and entertainment industry with a strong background in project management, operations, and business development. Currently serving as CoCo-Founder of the Institute of Immersive Media since February 2024, Christina also holds prominent roles as a Board Member and Chair of the Visual Effects Society in Germany since February 2022 and as General Manager and Managing Director at TRIXTER since November 2022. Previously, Christina was Managing Director at DARK BAY GmbH from April 2021 to November 2022 and held various leadership positions at Trixter from January 2017 to February 2022. Additional experience includes senior project management at SGM Solutions & Global Media GmbH and marketing and PR leadership at Kölner Filmhaus e.V. Christina's educational background includes studies at the University of Cologne and the Stage School of Music, Dance & Drama in Hamburg.
