Ashlyn Thompson

Ashlyn Thompson currently serves as the Director of People & Culture for Global Communications at Warner Bros. Discovery, beginning in March 2024. As a founding member of TroopHR since February 2021, Ashlyn contributes to a national HR network focused on empowering People Professionals. Previously, a significant tenure at BDG spanned from August 2017 to March 2024, where Ashlyn progressed through various leadership roles in Human Resources. Prior experience includes positions at Odyssey, where Ashlyn was People & Operations Manager, and Baylor JPRNM Magazine, where Ashlyn's work earned the "Baylor Online Magazine of the Year Award." Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and International Studies from Baylor University, along with a study abroad program in Journalism at Florence University of the Arts.
