Julie Koo is an experienced leader in donor communications and philanthropic management, currently serving as the Director of Donor Communications at Trout Unlimited since November 2021. Previous roles include Sr. Manager of Institutional Giving at The Max Foundation from April 2019 to November 2021, and Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations at UW Medicine. Julie Koo also held positions at the University of Washington as Associate Director of Advancement for the Institute for Early Learning & Brain Sciences and at the National Wildlife Federation in various capacities, including Gift Planning Officer and Sr. Manager of Individual Giving, spanning over 13 years. Early in Julie Koo's career, experience as an Advertising Copywriter at May Company was gained.
