Dr. Maurice Coyle has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dr. Maurice began their career as an IT Trainer at the International Academy of Computer Training (IACT) in 2006, where they taught computer courses in multimedia for the web. Dr. Maurice then worked as a Web Development Contractor at Pioneer Total Abstinence Association, where they implemented a multi-tier website with e-commerce and content management capabilities.
In 2003, Dr. Coyle joined Sun Microsystems as an Internationalization (i18n) Engineer, where they developed an online tool for verifying product internationalization and maintained the Multi-Byte English locale. Dr. Maurice continued in this role until 2003, when they extended the project to enable project teams to host their own lightweight i18n verification tool.
After their time at Sun Microsystems, Dr. Coyle became involved in various research positions. Dr. Maurice worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher at University College Dublin, Ireland from 2007 to 2010, focusing on research related to their field. Dr. Maurice then joined the CLARITY Centre as a Post-doctoral Researcher, where they continued their research and published numerous papers.
In 2008, Dr. Coyle co-founded HeyStaks and took on the role of CEO. At HeyStaks, they led the development of an AI Marketing platform that analyzed web usage activity to build accurate user profiles for targeted content, offers, and advertisements. Dr. Maurice also worked on commercializing search technologies developed within the CLARITY Centre.
In 2018, Dr. Coyle joined Trūata as their Chief Data Scientist. Dr. Maurice'srole at Trūata involves leveraging their expertise in data science to provide valuable insights and drive data-related strategies for the company. Additionally, in the same year, they also took on the role of Commercial Advisor at SeekLayer Ltd.
