Trūata
Trūata offers a new approach to handling data anonymization and analytics to help organisations meet the standards of personal data protection envisioned by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Trūata Anonymization Solution is designed to deliver actionable insights to its customers who operate in multiple industries includingfinancial services, telecoms, hospitality, retail and travel. Trūata independently anonymizes a customer’s data, giving that customer the freedom to carry out analysis while protecting people’s personal data. The Trūata solution is specifically designed to fully meet the high regulatory thresholds for anonymization as the original source data and the anonymized data will not at any time co-exist in one organisation. This ensures that analytics can be conducted across a customer’s entire data set while only analysing the fully-anonymized versions of that data. Conceived by its founding beneficiaries, Mastercard, C3 IoT and IBM, Trūata provides a new standard in data hosting and anonymization. Using proprietary processes, methodologies and intellectual property, its offerings make it possible for organisations to analyse their data while complying with the privacy and data protection requirements of the GDPR. IBM has been selected by Trūata to be its foundational partner for strategic technology and services that will include cloud, analytics and cognitive computing capabilities. Trūata’s innovative trust structure offers a new and unique solution that proactively safeguards privacy and engenders trust. Because of its governance structure, Trūata operates independently of its beneficiaries and customers, thereby allowing it to maintain direct control over data hosting and analytics on behalf of its client companies.
