Ltc Mark Owens

LTC (R) Mark Owens, MBA, serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at True Velocity since February 2019 and holds multiple leadership positions, including member of the NDIA SOLIC and Armaments Board of Directors. Owens is the founder and president of O2 Defense LLC and previously chaired the NDIA SO/LIC Symposium until June 2022. With extensive experience in the U.S. Army and USSOCOM, Owens managed the PM SOF Lethality portfolio and contributed to various military programs, including serving as Director of Integration for PEO-Soldier. Owens holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an MBA from Webster University, along with completion of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
