Jefferson Marchetti

Jefferson Marchetti is a highly experienced software and data engineer with a focus on platform engineering and advanced data solutions. Currently serving as a Staff Platform Software Engineer at Tino since May 2024, Jefferson has held various senior roles, including Principal Data Engineer at TRACTIAN 𝗕𝗥 and at TickSpread, where expertise in fault tolerance, distributed systems, and blockchain technologies was demonstrated. Prior experience includes creating a scalable data platform at XP Inc. and delivering advanced banking solutions at Semantix Brasil. Jefferson has also contributed to numerous projects at IBM in architecting cloud solutions and developing big data systems. The career spans more than a decade in diverse technical environments, showcasing proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Python, Go, and Scala, alongside extensive knowledge in cloud technologies and open-source development. Education was pursued at Centro de Pesquisa Educomp Eniac and Universidade Guarulhos.
