Cecilio Gill

Cecilio Gill currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Cyber Security Governance Control Officer at Truist since January 2022, alongside their role as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where Cecilio teaches a quarterly course on Concepts and Applications of Information Technology. Previously, Cecilio held the position of Cyber Security Program Manager at Raytheon Technologies for a brief period in 2021 and spent over thirteen years at Aflac, where responsibilities included Program Manager for Global Risk Governance and IT Project Manager. Notably, during Cecilio's tenure with the United States Air Force, key contributions included serving as Director of Operations and Cyber Security Officer, managing a significant team and overseeing substantial communication and computer support operations. Educational achievements consist of a BA in Telecommunications Management from Howard University, an MIS in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Project Management Certificate from The George Washington University School of Business.
