Nido R. Qubein

Dr. Nido R. Qubein has served as the president of High Point University since September 2005, during which time Nido has significantly increased enrollment by 250%, grown net assets from $56 million to nearly $1 billion, and established seven new academic schools, including the Workman School of Dental Medicine. In addition to his role at High Point University, Qubein is the founder and chairman emeritus of the National Speakers Association Foundation, focusing on programs aimed at education and development. Qubein is also a member of the board of directors for Truist, a board member at La-Z-Boy Incorporated since 2006, and the executive chairman of Great Harvest Bread Company since 2001.
