Phoebe Sweet

Phoebe Sweet is an accomplished communications professional with extensive expertise in climate and energy issues, currently serving as President of Acadia Strategies since August 2023. With over two decades of experience, Phoebe has held significant roles including Political Partner at the Truman National Security Project, Managing Director of Campaigns & Strategies at Climate Nexus, and Partner at Summers Strategies, where a focus on mission-driven communications was emphasized. Previous experience includes leading speechwriting for the Center for American Progress and serving as Communications Advisor and Speechwriter for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Phoebe's journalistic background includes reporting on environmental issues for the Las Vegas Sun and The Reading Eagle, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Magazine Journalism from Boston University and recent training in Climate Change through Terra.do.
