Goula Charalambous - People Director

Goula Charalambous is currently serving as People Director at Trust Payments since July 2023. Prior to this role, Goula held multiple positions at SmartestEnergy from October 2018 to July 2023, including Global VP of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources. Goula also worked as a self-employed HR consultant for startup businesses from December 2017 to October 2018, and served as Head of Human Resources at Wesleyan Bank and Syscap between April 2015 and December 2017. Before that, Goula was Head of Human Resources at Syscap from 2002 until its acquisition by Wesleyan. Additional experience includes working as Resources Manager at Riversoft (UK) Ltd from 2000 to 2002 and as Training and Development Supervisor at Financial Times Information Ltd from 1995 to 2000. Goula began the professional journey as a Legal Executive at The Mortgage Corporation (Salamons) between 1989 and 1995, with foundational education at Garratt Green Comprehensive.
