Thiago Bustamante

Thiago Bustamante is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Trustly since October 2023. Prior to this role, Thiago worked as IT Superintendent and Head of Engineering at Cartão Elo and held various leadership positions at XP Inc., including Partner and Chief Data Officer. Thiago's experience includes significant contributions at ThoughtWorks as a Technical Principal, where responsibility extended to leading teams and guiding technical decisions for large accounts in Brazil. Additionally, Thiago has a strong background in cloud migration, microservices architecture, and API design, complemented by entrepreneurial experience as the founder of Leanty - Cloud Services. Educationally, Thiago holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
