Nathan Silver PhD is a Senior Research Manager at the Truth Initiative's Schroeder Institute, specializing in evidence-based tobacco policy and focusing on graphic warning labels and misinformation on social media. Previously, Nathan served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, investigating text and image pairings in health warnings and analyzing e-cigarette advertisements. During a PhD program at The Ohio State University, Nathan led research on campaign evaluation and audience tailoring while teaching courses on persuasion and public speaking. Early career experiences include an internship at Janani, where Nathan contributed to a successful grant application, and roles as an English teacher in South Korea. Nathan holds a PhD in Mass Communication/Media Studies, a Master's in Communication and Media Studies, and a Bachelor's in Political Science and Government.
