Shannon McConnell is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in user experience and interaction design. Currently serving as a Product Designer at Truth Initiative since November 2021, Shannon leads new feature development for an online smoking cessation program while facilitating cross-functional product strategy sessions and establishing user research processes. Prior roles include Senior Interaction Designer at Fjord, where Shannon led a nine-person design team and contributed to usability testing and formative research. Previous positions involved significant contributions to product design for government projects and healthcare applications, earning recognition for superior achievement and innovation. Shannon holds a User Experience Design Immersive certificate from General Assembly and a BA in International Service from American University.
