Nick Gatland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital identity solutions, having co-founded trUUth in November 2018 to develop a reliable and secure platform. Prior to this venture, Nick served as GM in Transformation and Pricing at Telstra from May 2013 to November 2017, and held the position of Head of Business Intelligence at Orange from August 2007 to September 2011. Nick's career also includes a role as COO and joint CEO at Virgin Mobile South Africa from March 2005 to July 2007. Nick holds a degree in Mathematics & Sports Science from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1988 and 1992.

At truuth, our mission is to provide the world's most secure, accurate and user-friendly digital identity service. In 2020 we are building a set of products for enterprises that will allow businesses to offer industry-leading solutions for their customers throughout their on-boarding and identity verification processes. Our truuth KYC product will solve inherent weaknesses in current KYC processes by harnessing multiple biometrics and dynamic liveness testing to provide a secure and seamless on-boarding experience. truuth Identity will harness the benefits of a our multiple-biometric approach to provide customers with more secure identity verification and enterprises can leverage real-time identity scoring to prompt higher levels of authentication as necessary. truuth Verify scans customer documents and extracts key fields to enable verification of authenticity. Verify applies machine-learning to test for document falsification and enables the application of visible and invisible watermarks to prove ownership. We are also designing our own truuth consumer app, a service that will allow users to secure and monetise their own personal information. These enterprise and consumer products all serve to realise our aim to empower consumers to reclaim ownership of their identity.
