Shoshana Bloom, PhD, currently serves as a Scientist at TScan Therapeutics since June 2022. Previously, Shoshana was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2016 to February 2022, focusing on cancer therapeutics and synthetic biology. Shoshana's research involved the use of genetically engineered Salmonella to deliver cytotoxic drugs to tumors and designing failsafe circuits for bacterial clearance post-therapy. Additional experience includes roles such as Head of Rope Staff at Camp Ramah In New England, Peer Mentor in the First Year Research and Innovation Experience, Product Development Intern at Jecho Laboratories, and research internships at Kohane Lab for Biomaterials and Drug Delivery. Shoshana holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland.
