Niranjan Neelakanta

Niranjan Neelakanta currently serves as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Tsecond Inc. since February 2024, leading the development of the Data Transfer as a Service (DTaaS) platform called DataDart. Prior to this role, Niranjan gained extensive experience at Nutanix as a Staff Engineer from February 2020 to January 2024, contributing to the backup/restore component of the Nutanix DBaaS product. At Huawei, from May 2017 to January 2020, Niranjan held the position of Chief Architect, where significant achievements included designing and developing snapshots for a Distributed File System in the OceanStor Dorado Kernel, as well as space reservation in distributed storage. Niranjan's earlier experience includes positions as Senior Staff Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer at SanDisk® from March 2013 to April 2017, working on the ZetaScale key value store, and as a Member of Technical Staff at NetApp from April 2010 to February 2013, with contributions to SnapLock (WORM on WAFL). Niranjan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, obtained in January 2003.
