Yanni Wu

Yanni Wu is a visiting fellow at Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences since September 2017, while concurrently pursuing a PhD at Tsinghua University in the Public Policy and Management School with a specialization in developing country studies. Wu has been a research scholar at the Tsinghua Epstein Center for Global Media and Communications since June 2016, conducting research on development issues in collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Previous experience includes an internship at the Xinhua News Agency's Africa Regional Bureau in late 2012, as well as serving as the Director of Public Relations for FACES at Zhejiang University from 2009 to 2010. Wu holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor's degree in English from Zhejiang University.
