Lara Fitzgerald

Clinical Team Lead at Tsleil-Waututh Nation

Lara Fitzgerald, MCP-AT, RCC, is a seasoned professional in the mental health and creative sectors, currently serving as the Clinical Team Lead and Mental Wellness Counsellor for Tsleil Waututh Nation since January 2019. Fitzgerald's experience includes roles as a Community Counsellor at the Canadian Mental Health Association and programming leadership at Gallery Gachet, where substantial contributions to art and mental health initiatives were made. Prior to those roles, Fitzgerald worked in various capacities in the film industry, including as a Story Producer and Field Director for Make Believe Media, and a Documentary Film Instructor at The Art Institute of Vancouver. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Adler University, a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Film from the University of East Anglia, and a Diploma in Fine/Studio Arts from Langara College.
