Jeanne Rubner

Jeanne Rubner is an accomplished academic and media professional with extensive experience in communication and public engagement. Currently serving as a Honorarprofessorin at the School of Social Sciences and Technology at Technische Universität München since May 2024, Rubner also holds the position of Vice President Communication and Public Engagement at the same institution since March 2018, alongside teaching responsibilities as a Lehrbeauftragte. With a background in journalism as Redaktionsleiterin at Bayerischer Rundfunk since 2012 and previously as Leitende Redakteurin at Süddeutsche Zeitung from 1991 to 2012, Rubner has a strong foundation in cultural and political reporting, particularly in knowledge, education, and foreign policy related to the EU.
