Burak Yaglioglu

Burak Yaglioglu is a senior chief researcher at TUBITAK UZAY, with extensive experience in space system projects, including the first Turkish lunar mission, the TURKSAT 6A GEO communications satellite, and the İMECE Earth observation satellite. Yaglioglu has a robust background in project management, systems engineering, mission design, and orbital motion control. Additionally, Yaglioglu served as a lecturer at both the Middle East Technical University and the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association, teaching courses on orbital mechanics and spacecraft design. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, along with dual master's degrees in Space Science and Technology from European institutions, and a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same university.
