Dirk Spiessens

Dirk Spiessens has extensive experience in project management within the ICT and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at TUC RAIL since February 2020, Dirk oversees account management for ICT techniques related to fire and intrusion systems for Infrabel's clientele, managing multi-technology projects from scope definition to implementation. Prior to this role, Dirk held various positions including Project Leader at Syntigo/Ixilio/TucRail from 2011 to 2020, Project Manager at P&J BenedICT in 2010 focusing on safety projects for Infrabel, and Team Leader at Colt, where responsibilities included managing a team and supplier contracts for fiber network maintenance and installations. Dirk’s earlier roles included senior engineering and sales positions at Scarlet and KPN Belgium, and a solid educational background in electronics and business management, encompassing multiple degrees including a Master's in Project Management.
