Paul Tobback

Paul Tobback has extensive experience in railway electrification and design engineering, currently serving as the Lead Design Engineer OCL at TUC RAIL since March 2000. In this role, Paul Tobback is also an active member of the EN50119 Workgroup, focusing on European standards for overhead contact line systems. Additionally, Paul Tobback supports less experienced engineers, develops software tools, applies European and Belgian standards, and contributes to international projects. Since October 2017, Paul Tobback has represented EIM (European Rail Infrastructure Managers) at ERA concerning power supply and overhead contact line systems. Paul Tobback earned a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Electromechanical Techniques from KU Leuven between 1990 and 1998.
