Thomas Laguérie

Thomas Laguérie is a Signalling Design Engineer at TUC RAIL since July 2023, working as an ETCS2 Design Engineer for INFRABEL and serving as the Lead Engineer for the ERTMS USERS GROUP. Previously, during a five-year tenure at Scalian, Thomas held roles as the On-board ERTMS Design Leader and System Engineer for Alstom Belgium, focusing on the definition, specification, analysis, and development of railway signaling systems. Earlier experience includes an internship at Thales Alenia Space, where Thomas contributed to the Ariane 6 project, and another internship at Alstom, focusing on test methods and tools for signalization devices. Thomas also worked as a manufacturing assistant intern at ESTEVE SA and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes, complemented by a diploma from Luleå University of Technology.
