Created by local landowners, conservationist, farmers, and water managers who have a passion for conservation and a commitment to supporting the local economy and community. The Trust was launched to support local landowners in making decisions on how best to manage their land and water to achieve local groundwater sustainability, by working to protect, preserve and restore the natural and agricultural heritage of the Southern San Joaquin Valley.  Current efforts include land fallowing, cover cropping, ground water recharge, natural habitat restoration, and ag land preservation.
