Jon Olav Grepstad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jon Olav is currently working as a Senior Product Engineer at sensiBel since November 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Chief Scientist at Tunable AS starting from October 2016. From April 2014 to October 2016, Jon Olav worked as a Research Scientist at SINTEF. Jon Olav also had a previous stint at SINTEF as a Research Scientist, starting in August 2007 and ending in April 2010. Before joining SINTEF, they worked as an Engineer at Atmel Norway from August to December 2004.
Jon Olav Grepstad earned a Master's degree in Micro Electronics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2001 and 2007. Jon Olav later pursued further education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nanophotonics at NTNU from 2010 to 2014.
