Mahesh Joshi

Mahesh Joshi is a seasoned professional in the fields of data and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Sr. Director and Head of Data and AI at Turing since July 2023. With a robust background in machine learning, Mahesh previously held multiple roles at LinkedIn from January 2016 to July 2023, including Sr. Manager of Software Engineering and Staff Machine Learning Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at eBay Inc. as a Research Scientist and Applied Researcher, as well as a Graduate Research Assistant role at Carnegie Mellon University, where Mahesh earned both a Ph.D. and an MS in Language Technologies. Additional academic experience includes research and teaching assistantships at the University of Minnesota, and a research internship at Mayo Clinic, complemented by earlier work as a member of the technical staff at Persistent Systems.
