Junbao Yang

Junbao Yang, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with extensive expertise in immunology, particularly in cellular immunity and targeted tumor immunotherapy. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Turn Biotechnologies and CS Bay Therapeutics since March 2022 and April 2019 respectively, Junbao Yang specializes in developing and optimizing cellular assays for therapeutic protein and small molecule evaluation. Previous roles include Scientist II at Allogene Therapeutics, Sr. Associate Scientist at Amgen, and Assistant Professor at John Wayne Cancer Institute, where significant contributions were made to CART therapy and immunomodulatory strategies. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master’s from the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, and a medical degree from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University.
