Heather M. Porter-Light has extensive experience in administration, specializing in legal and contract management. Currently serving as an Unemployment Administrator at Turning Stone Enterprises since July 2012, Heather conducts thorough research on employee terminations and prepares formal written responses to unemployment insurance claims for the New York State Department. Previously, a Contract Administrator at Oneida Indian Nation from 2002 to 2012, responsibilities included ensuring compliance of contracts with commercial and legal terms and managing contract approvals. Additionally, Heather held roles as a Public Affairs Specialist, focusing on research analysis, event planning, budget monitoring, and charity program administration. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Legal Studies and Criminology from SUNY Empire State College and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Paralegal Studies from Herkimer County Community College.
