Tarek Quao is a skilled software engineer with experience in various technology roles. Currently, Tarek serves as a Software Engineer (I) at turntabl since September 2022. Prior to this role, Tarek worked as a Web Developer at Apex Marketing, focusing on designing and building WordPress websites and managing client eCommerce sites with WooCommerce. Tarek began the professional journey as an Associate Software Engineer at Bewsys, where responsibilities included developing frontend and backend websites using HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and Laravel, in addition to maintaining WordPress sites. An earlier internship at Vokacom Limited involved documenting a Facial Recognition Human Resource Management System and resolving IT issues. Tarek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Ashesi University, completed in 2020, and a High School diploma in General Science from Akosombo International School, completed in 2016.
