Bircan Taslica is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technical consulting and management roles. From 1999 to 2001, Bircan worked as a Grad. Project Eng. at CETECOM GmbH, where they handled customer care, project management, and accreditation for cell phone testing. From 2001 to 2013, Bircan held various positions at CETECOM GmbH, including Senior Test Engineer and Project and Test Manager. During this time, they were responsible for testing, analyzing, consulting, and service/maintenance for various technologies and test systems. From 2014 to 2015, Bircan served as the EMEA Technical Sales Manager at ETS-Lindgren, where they focused on RF anechoic absorber and microwave chambers. In 2015, Bircan worked as a Technical Consultant, specializing in areas such as EMC, Wireless, Industry 4.0, IoT, M2M, RF, and Automotive Infotainment Systems. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Global Head of Technical Process Optimization & IoT Wireless Technologies BS Products at TÜV Rheinland Group, leading technical procurement function and analyzing IoT markets. Currently, Bircan holds the position of Global Head of V2x, ADAS/AD, and 5G at TÜV Rheinland Group, where they provide consulting, training, and development services related to ADAS/AD, V2x, and Tele-Operated-Driving topics, as well as analyzing and verifying wireless connections and researching global ADAS regulations.
Bircan Taslica has a solid education history in electrical engineering. Bircan graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Technische Universität Dortmund in 1994 and previously attended Technische Universität Pristina in 1988-1989, where they obtained the degree of "cand. eng" in electrical engineering. From 1994 to 1999, they pursued a specialization in electrical engineering for biomedical technical and radio frequency fields at Ruhr University Bochum. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a certification as an LTE Expert from INANCON.
