Volkmar Bend DCDC has extensive experience in data center consultancy, auditing, and standards development, currently serving as an Editor for the Data Center Standard ISO/IEC TS 22237-2 with ISO/IEC JTC1/SC39 since September 2017, and as a Senior Data Center Auditor at TÜViT since July 2012. Volkmar also contributes to the European Data Center Standard EN 50600 as European Editor under DKE/Cenelec and has been a Certified Trainer for BICSI DC102 since 2008. Further involvement includes participation in Data Center Standard and Operations Subcommittees at BICSI, project management at Schnabel AG, and consultancy roles in various organizations. Academic credentials include a Master's in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University and a Dipl.-Ing. in Architecture from RWTH Aachen University.
