Cate Shorter is an experienced product photographer and image retoucher with a diverse background in the photography industry. Since September 2008, Cate has been self-employed, specializing in product photography and image retouching/restoration. Additionally, Cate has been a photographer for twelveNYC since October 2020 and for FireStarToys.com since February 2017. Previous roles include freelance retoucher at Space Brands Limited from 2014 to October 2018, a Mac operator at Metro Imaging from September 2006 to August 2008, and lab manager at Colourstream from November 2003 to September 2006. Academically, Cate holds a BA(hons) in Editorial Photography from the University of Brighton and a BTEC National Diploma in Design Photography from Croydon College.
