Marcello Consonni

Marcello Consonni is a Welding Engineer at TWI since October 2006, specializing in the management and technical delivery of welding engineering projects, particularly in the area of creep resisting steels and expert witness reports. Additionally, Marcello serves as a Senior Project Leader focusing on structural integrity projects encompassing Engineering Critical Assessments and failure investigations. Marcello is a member of various standardization committees and oversees TWI's standards development program while also contributing as a developer and lecturer for professional training courses and university lectures. Prior experience includes a role as Metallurgist and Welding Engineer at Westinghouse Nuclear from October 2002 to October 2006. Education includes a degree in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
