Jens Plath is an experienced executive in marketing and business development with a strong background in payment systems and digital business models. Currently serving as a Member of the Executive Board and Chief Marketing Officer at TWINT, Switzerland's leading payment app, Jens oversees cross-functional consumer business initiatives and all marketing functions. Prior to TWINT, Jens co-founded a start-up focused on value proposition and business model development, and held multiple leadership roles at PayPal, including Head of P2P Payments and Head of Partnerships DACH, where strategies for market growth were executed across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Jens also has extensive management experience from positions at allmaxx.de/merconic GmbH and as a co-founder of Abitours, a tourism and events company. Education includes a Master of Arts in Leadership in Digital Communication from Universität der Künste Berlin and a Diplom-Kaufmann from The Berlin School of Economics and Law.
