Jian Wei Khor

Jian Wei Khor, PhD, currently serves as a Staff Systems Engineer - Automation at Twist Bioscience since February 2022, having previously held the position of Systems Engineer - Automation at the same company. Prior to this, Jian Wei Khor was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Washington from February 2020 to February 2022 and completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 2015 to 2020. Jian Wei Khor also has experience as a Master Thesis Student at Purdue University from June 2013 to May 2015 and as a Research Engineer Intern at Microfluidic Innovations in late 2014, where a novel device for levitating microparticles using acoustic levitation for pharmaceutical applications was designed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University (2010-2013), a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University (2013-2015), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (2015-2020).
