Rod Walston

Rod Walston is a seasoned facilities management professional with extensive experience in plant engineering and maintenance roles. Currently serving as the Senior Facilities Manager at Twist Bioscience since February 2022, Rod previously held positions at Owens Illinois, where responsibilities included Plant Engineer and Sr. Maintenance Manager, focusing on compliance, maintenance, and operational efficiency. At Genentech from October 2008 to April 2019, Rod was the Production Maintenance Sr. Supervisor, overseeing critical maintenance operations. Rod's background also includes roles as an Aircraft Mechanic with the United States Air Force, as well as various engineering positions at Genentech.
