Michael Cooke has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analysis. Michael is currently working as a Data Science Lead at Tyl by NatWest since April 2023. Prior to this, they were associated with Kindred Group plc, where they held various roles including Senior Data Scientist II, Senior Data Scientist, and Data Scientist from September 2019 to April 2023. Before joining Kindred Group plc, Michael worked as a Data Scientist at BJSS from February 2018 to August 2019. Michael also has experience as a Quantitative Analyst at The AA (Ireland) from August 2017 to February 2018. Michael's career started at King's College London as a PhD candidate, where they worked on research related to Wilson loops, resulting in three publications in peer-reviewed journals. Michael also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant during their time at King's College London, tutoring several modules and receiving a nomination for the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in 2014.
Michael Cooke completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin, from the year 2005 to 2009. Michael then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces from Imperial College London, from 2009 to 2010. Later, they went on to obtain another Master of Science (MSc) degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Amsterdam, from 2011 to 2012.
