Periklis Dimou

Periklis Dimou has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Periklis currently works as a Senior Software Developer at tyntec since April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Xrisi Efkeria Group from April 2016 to April 2023. In 2012, Periklis worked as a Consultant at Cognity from April 2012 to April 2016. Periklis also gained experience as a Software Engineer at International Software Techniques (IST) from October 2011 to April 2012, where they worked on Spring-based web applications and provided ongoing support to a large telecom operator. Periklis served in the Greek Army as a Private from November 2010 to July 2011, where they performed normal duties and provided training on MS Excel. Periklis also worked as a Software Engineer at The Logic Group from September 2007 to September 2010, improving the performance and reliability of payment applications. Periklis was an Embedded Developer at Cisco from January 2007 to March 2007, where they fixed and tested bugs related to Cisco's IOS software. In 2004, they served as a Matlab teaching assistant at Aberdeen University, providing guidance and evaluation to undergraduate students. Periklis started their career as an Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic Engineer at ALSTOM in June 2002, where they assembled switchboard components and supervised manufacturing procedures. Overall, Periklis has a strong background in software development, consulting, and engineering roles.

Periklis Dimou pursued their education in a chronological order, beginning in 1999 at the University of Aberdeen. Periklis completed their MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2005. Following that, in 2005-2006, they attended the University of Surrey, where they obtained their MSc degree in Mobile Communication Systems.

Additionally, in March 2023, Periklis Dimou received the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
