Nazareno Chan has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Nazareno started their career as a Software Developer at Azeus Systems, where they gained experience in the entire software development lifecycle and took on mentoring roles. Nazareno later joined Intellifleet Pty Ltd as a Support Specialist, focusing on providing technical support for fleet tracking and management solutions.

Chan then moved to LISAsoft as a Software Engineer, where they worked on geospatial solutions development and contributed to an open-source project. Nazareno then joined Tyro Payments, starting as a Software Engineer and later taking on roles such as Technical Team Lead for the Digital team, Enterprise Architect, and finally, Head of Architecture. In these roles, they played a key role in the growth and development of Tyro's technology platforms and teams, including the establishment of a Solutions Architecture team and the refresh of Tyro's architecture framework.

Throughout their career, Chan has demonstrated strong technical skills, collaborative working styles, and a focus on continuous learning and improvement. Nazareno has experience in various technologies and development practices, such as Java, Kotlin, XP, TDD, and Agile methodologies. Nazareno Chan completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2014 to 2015, they pursued an Associate's degree in Spatial Information Services - GIS from TAFE NSW Riverina Institute.
