Michael O'Brien

Michael O'Brien is a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer at u-blox since October 2020, specializing in IC test development for RF transceiver and power management ICs. Prior to this role, Michael served as an ASIC Project Leader at imec, overseeing the industrialization of qualified ASICs for various sectors. Michael's experience includes working as an Applications Engineer and Test Development Engineer at Analog Devices, focusing on precision digital to analog converters and developing test methodologies for ADCs and DACs. Education includes a BE in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick and a brief study at Victoria University of Wellington. Early career experience includes roles as a Lab TA and telecommunications intern.
