Michael Voss

Michael Voss possesses extensive public affairs and communications expertise, with a career spanning various branches of the U.S. military and freelance roles. Currently serving as the Director of External Affairs and Government Relations for the U.S. Coast Guard since April 2020, Voss previously held significant positions including Public Affairs Command Information Chief for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command and Public Affairs Officer at the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. Voss has demonstrated leadership in managing public affairs operations, community relations programs, and media engagements across diverse military contexts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Communication and Media Studies from Thomas Edison State University and several degrees from the Community College of the Air Force.
