Michael Niezgoda Jr has extensive experience in public affairs and law enforcement, currently serving in U.S. Customs and Border Protection since July 2018. Michael retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 5 from the US Marine Corps after a distinguished career spanning over 32 years, during which key roles included participating in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and graduating from the Expeditionary Warfare School. Previously, Michael served as a State Trooper with the New York State Police for nearly 25 years, where various responsibilities included leadership in the Motorcycle Unit, community policing, and providing support during the 9/11 recovery efforts. Michael also served as an enlisted Marine in infantry operations and military policing. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia Southern University and a State Law Enforcement Certificate from the New York State Police Academy.
