Armando Vasquez

Armando Vasquez has extensive experience in public affairs and communication. Currently serving as a Public Affairs Specialist at USDA's Food and Nutrition Service since July 2014, Vasquez evaluates communication systems and advises senior management on public affairs activities. In addition, Vasquez holds the position of Chief Public Affairs for the New Jersey National Guard since November 2008, where responsibilities include writing, editing, and ensuring compliance with policies. Prior experience includes a Public Affairs Specialist role at the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and positions in procurement and accounts payable management. Armando Vasquez earned a Master of Arts in Public and Organizational Relations from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Kean University.
